Keith Urban Checks Into Rehab

Country star Keith Urban voluntarily checked himself into a rehab facility Thursday night with wife Nicole Kidman by his side.

"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Urban said in a statement. "One can never let ones guard down on recovery and I'm afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome."

It is not known what type of addiction for which Urban is seeking treatment. However, the singer has previously acknowledged overcoming a cocaine addiction.

Urban has been forced to cancel all promotions for his latest album, 'Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing.'

God bless you Keith, I will say a little prayer for you every night, we all have problems, addictions , demons , etc. , the main thing is to stay focused, surround your self with people you love and people that love you, hang in there, u have so much support, you are very lucky, alot of people dont have that. And to have your wife standing beside you, that is awesome. The world is a terrible place any more, but when you get straightened out, you will see the world in a different light, you are so blessed already in so many ways, and when you get through this it will truly truly be a blessing.just learn to enjoy the little things in life , friends, family, your music. Put all your energy into that, dont think about negative things, just be positive. Hold your head up and be proud, you deserve it. God bless you

Keith,
You have been in my prayers and my heart since I found out you were going through a tough time, and I know you will make it. Your music inspires my heart and soul and you are a blessing to listen to. Your win at the CMA's was very much deserving, you are truly the best and all of your fans will see you through it all and walk with you on this journey. Be strong and keep the FAITH, GOD LOVES YOU. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Keith,

Anyone can check into a rehab center, but it takes a real man to admit to his addictions. I was married to a person who hid his addition and never check into rehab. After much complication most likely cause by this his life ended at the age of 31. I'm happy for you that you have the support of you family. Keep stronge. You are a beautiful person on the inside and out. Don't let it control you. You control it.!!!! Good Luck.
