Keith Urban logged some time in a Los Angeles studio this week with pop princess Nelly Furtado. The two recorded a duet that will hopefully end up on Furtado's new album, due later this year."It was a blast getting to sing on the track," Urban told Australia's Herald Sun. "It's a great song, and I hope it pans out."
The Grammy-nominated country crooner is now on the road for his joint tour with Carrie Underwood. Fans may see an extra bounce in his step when he takes the stage.
"Performing in general has taken on a whole new feeling for me, certainly in light of fatherhood and so on," Urban tells the Herald Sun.
So is Urban already writing lullabies for the baby he's expecting with wife Nicole Kidman in July? Not yet, he says. The dad-to-be wants to wait until the child is born to write a more personal dedication.
