T-Pain says he wants his next collaboration to be a little bit country. The rapper spoke with VH1 Radio about plans for his upcoming album, saying, "I'm gonna try to go with some different features. Right now, I'm thinking about a song with Toby Keith." Why, of all people, Toby Keith? Must be the money.
"He's just different," T-Pain explained. "He sells a lot of records ... He's rich! I just want to be friends with him, I guess. That would be great!"
If the two collaborate, it would be the first mainstream country-rap duet since Nelly and Tim McGraw's 'Over and Over.' T-Pain's new album is expected to be released in September.
