After a killer effort on Donald Trump's 'Celebrity Apprentice,' Trace Adkins has signed up for a performance on the CBS daytime drama 'The Young & the Restless.' The country star is set to tape a guest-appearance on the hit soap opera tomorrow, and it will air on May 2.This isn't the first we've heard of Adkins trying out his acting skills. He'll go from drama to comedy later this month, starring as a ghost in David Zucker's upcoming Christmas movie, 'American Carol.' The indie flick is a modern comedic take on Charles Dickins' 'A Christmas Carol' and also features cameos from Jon Voight, Leslie Nielsen and Dennis Hopper. That project is expected to begin filming in L.A. on April 15.
