Taylor Swift Goes to Prom

Taylor Swift may have missed her senior prom, but friends and family made it up to her. They threw the teen country sensation a prom-themed party on Monday. Guests wore prom dresses and tuxedos, while Swift sported a strapless blue gown and a tiara that spelled out 'Our Song' in jewels across the stop. She was presented with a plaque celebrating 'Our Song''s run at No. 1 and the triple-platinum success of her eponymous debut album.

In other Taylor Swift news, the 18-year-old is now the face of L.e.i. jeans. She'll be featured in the denim company's back-to-school advertising campaign. The low-priced jeans will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores beginning in July.

i think Taylor is an awesome singer. i love her music and her videos. Taylor can definitely sing her heart out. Taylor has a great voice.

hey! :)

why do you bother putting her down? shes obviously successful for a reason, she has a good voice, and catchy songs, and people like her because shes a good person and they can relate to her music. and also, i think it's great that she loves God, thats really beautiful. i'm catholic too and i think there aren't enough people out there singing about their faith, people try to make it seem that being religious is outdated and stupid but they are just lazy and ignorant (it's also hurtful to people who are religious).
people who want to put her down are just being evil and cynical(not to mention outnumbered by people who like her). if you want to bad mouth someone, go badmouth someone else, god knows that catholics get enough crap, we're always getting bagged on, and everyone thinks it's okay but its not, its just as bad as being mean to gays and other minorities.

Some of these posts DESERVE "the boot" ... I mean, seriously ... if the producers didn't want anything to do with her and she's gone multi-platinum and won new artist of the year, then it was the producers who were pretty stupid, weren't they? (Hint: no one believes your ALL CAPS story, Bigshow). And someone else here wants her to write more grown-up songs ... how about letting her grow up first? Paul McCartney wrote "Love Me Do" at 16 and "Let It Be" at 28 ... relax a little, folks. She's a cute girl with songwriting talent who will get better at performing.

Oh you guys....so bitter. taylor is talented... she can sing as well as the next 18 year old if not better. she writes. she plays guitar. so she has some performance flaws. give her a break. shes still starting to gain her experience. give it time, and she will be amazing. shes got the potential. and who cares if you think shes ugly or not, thats not what writing and sharing MUSIC is about. but for the record i think shes pretty. and if you are thinking oh stupid little girl i dont know what im talking about, no sorry im 21 and have been around plenty of music. thanks. if you dont like her, dont buy her cd, and dont go to her concerts. not that hard folks. let the people who like her, enjoy her music.

How do you know? Everyone believed Britney when she said she was a virgin ;) And nobody thought Miley would be a bad girl, but after the 2 sets of pics (the pics of her and boyfriend and with her Daddy)... who thinks she didn't have sex yet?
