Miranda Lambert's 'Crazy Ex Girlfriend' is the ACM Album of the Year. "I was not expecting this at all. I'm sitting right behind Kenny Chesney, so I don't feel right taking this," a shocked Lambert told the audience. "But thank you so much to my fans and to the industry for accepting me, being a little left of center. As a songwriter, I poured my heart and soul into this album. It's who I am, so thank you for appreciating it."
Lambert performed her latest single, 'Gunpowder and Lead,' on the broadcast. Her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, introduced her, joking that he better not mess up his intro, "because I certainly don't need a crazy ex-girlfriend!"

Miranda Lambert is trash! She is not country! Blake had better drop this little girl before he gets a bad rap because of her! Also the pioneer award was just scrolled on the bottom of the tv! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! If it was not for the pioneers, country would not be what it is today! Put them back on TV and let them have their day to! Also Brooks & Dunn award for duo is fixed HELLO ONE OF THEM IS ON THE COMMITTEE!!! Montgomery Gentry is a hole lot better singers! and deserve the recognition also!

I think it is great that Miranda won Album of the Year last night. I am so proud of her. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a fabulous album and she worked hard. Miranda truly deserved this win.

I am so happy for Miranda. She's gotten nominated a few times and never won anything so it's about time. I love both of the albums and think she's great. I've seen her in concert 2 times and she puts on a GREAT show. By the way Linda, she is not trash she is a very talented singer and song writer. YAY FOR MIRANDA!!!

It's about damn time! Miranda is CRAZY talented. I was getting SO sick of seeing Carrie Underwood win all these awards the last couple years. Miranda writes pretty much ALL of her own stuff whereas someone like Carrie probably just gets it emailed to her and she says yes she will or no she won't then gets all the glory. Miranda is amazing and I'm so glad that she is getting recognized for her hard work and AMAZING talent for EVERYTHING she does!! Yea Miranda! Let this be just the beginning! I can't wait for more stuff!

I don't consider Miranda real country. I grew up on music by Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn.,Tammy Wynette.,Buck Owens.,Crystal Gayle.,Hank Williams, Sr. I'm only 35. They are country. Miranda is more counrty rock, which attracts a lot of young people to listen to country music, which is great. I saw her 3x's in concert, of of them being in Nashville. She is very loud & wild, a little to much for country - Hey its only my opinion.
She should also learn to leave married men with their wives. Remember Miranda what goes around, comes around. You can never trust a man that leaves his wife for another women, they did it once they will do it again.

Miranda Lambert should not win anything until she learns to treat people with the respect and dignity they deserve. I personally do no like her, will not listen to any of her songs and won't spend a penny on anything connected to her.

Miranda is so amazingly talented! Not only does she sound great on the album- but she sounds great live and that is rare these days! I love that she won album of the year. She really earned it. AND IT IS ABOUT DAMN TIME!!
