Miranda Lambert Scores ACM Album of the Year Award

Miranda Lambert's 'Crazy Ex Girlfriend' is the ACM Album of the Year.

"I was not expecting this at all. I'm sitting right behind Kenny Chesney, so I don't feel right taking this," a shocked Lambert told the audience. "But thank you so much to my fans and to the industry for accepting me, being a little left of center. As a songwriter, I poured my heart and soul into this album. It's who I am, so thank you for appreciating it."

Lambert performed her latest single, 'Gunpowder and Lead,' on the broadcast. Her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, introduced her, joking that he better not mess up his intro, "because I certainly don't need a crazy ex-girlfriend!"

Yes, I don't mean to be mean or anything but Miranda should try to lose about 15 or so pounds. No excuse for having that much junk in your trunk, and onstage it is really noticeable. I know this doesn't affect her quality of her singing (which I'll leave out if it but she really isn't NEAR the best female country singer out there.)
Honey, if you're reading this, you should really do the other part of your job which is to look physically appealing. I mean Reba is like, what, almost 60 now and she keeps her body nice and slim. At your age it should be a piece of cake (no pun intended.)
Apparently Blake will take you now and apparently he likes women with a LOT of meat on their bones, but with men, visual is everything so you gotta watch yourself there.
Just telling 'ya woman to woman. (to quote another country song.)

I can't believe some of you people's comments. I really think it is funny how some of you say Miranda isn't real country. She is more country than half of these other So called country acts we have. Carrie Underwood coming to mind, followed by Taylor Swift ect. They are talented don't get me wrong and I enjoy their music but they are pop. So does that mean they shouldn't be played on country radio? I like how some of you know Miranda personally that is so cool. The few on here that say Miranda is rude,should look at someother people in country music who treat there opening acts like crap on the bottom of their shoe, and wife steeler really needs to get a life. Mind your own buisness you don't know these people and you don't know what happened. People who call others trash without knowing them need to stop and take a look at themselfs. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Miranda is an awesome singer and songer writer and deserved the award she got and many to follow. It's ok not to like someone's music but to be rude and say such fowl things in uncalled for.

Miranda is so amazingly talented! Not only does she sound great on the album- but she sounds great live and that is rare these days! I love that she won album of the year. She really earned it. AND IT IS ABOUT DAMN TIME!!

Miranda Lambert should not win anything until she learns to treat people with the respect and dignity they deserve. I personally do no like her, will not listen to any of her songs and won't spend a penny on anything connected to her.

I don't consider Miranda real country. I grew up on music by Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn.,Tammy Wynette.,Buck Owens.,Crystal Gayle.,Hank Williams, Sr. I'm only 35. They are country. Miranda is more counrty rock, which attracts a lot of young people to listen to country music, which is great. I saw her 3x's in concert, of of them being in Nashville. She is very loud & wild, a little to much for country - Hey its only my opinion.
She should also learn to leave married men with their wives. Remember Miranda what goes around, comes around. You can never trust a man that leaves his wife for another women, they did it once they will do it again.
