What does your son Elijah think about what you do for a living?

I don't know if he fully understands it. He sat on the President's lap at the White House while I sang. I'm glad he can experience a lot of things . . . There's nothing special about me. Nothing has come easy. I've had to work really hard, so I'm making sure he understands that you have to work hard for things that you want. I think he's proud, and he comes out on stage sometimes and waves.
