Source Claims Shania Twain's Husband Cheated

Music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange is being accused of cheating on his superstar wife, Shania Twain. Sources tell PEOPLE magazine that the reason for the couple's split after 14 years of marriage was Lange's relationship with another woman.

Lange gave PEOPLE a very simple reason for the split, calling it "literally just a growing apart, that's all," he said. But sources allegedly close to the couple say infidelity is the real reason, claiming Lange had an affair with Marie-Anne Thiébaud, a secretary and manager of the couple's chateau in Switzerland.

"Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship," says one source.

Another source says Twain is "devastated. This came out of left field . . . She loved him."

Lange is denying the alleged affair. "It's absolutely not the reason [for the separation]," he told PEOPLE. "It's not true."

Twain and Lange married in 1993. They have a 6-year-old son, Eja.

I have been a fan since I saw the video on a plane for twister the movie. I fell in love with your voice. Keep doing what you do you are a great singer. I know what your going through I am also going through a separation married since 1997 and dated her since 1991 was betrayed by the people i trusted the most. Just like your indian name your on your way keep going. i would love to meet you one day.

Dear Shania,

I have learned throughout my years on this planet. That the only person you can ever count on is yourself. I have a 32 yeaar old Daughter Jennifer who has been battling cancer for a year now and I want to share her saying. " Life is like a poker game, God does the dealing. So just brush yourself off and start all over again. Mutt ovbliously only concerned about his needs not yours or your sons'. I send love, hugs and kissed and alot of prayers to you girl as I have been there. Infact when I daughter came down sick her boyfriend of a couple of years left her high and dry. But she just kept a positive outlook as she had bigger fish to fry. We will keep you in our prayers. HANG IN THERE GIRL!!!!

Big mistake-How could anyone betray the most beautiful, intelligent and talented person on the earth. Millions of guys would "crawl on ground glass" just to spend 5 minutes with Shania.
