Faith Hill Inspired By Younger Stars

Faith Hill has sold tens of millions of albums, won a trophy case full of awards and headlined one of the highest-grossing tours of all time. But the country beauty is still striving to be more like her younger peers. Hill says watching artists like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift has made her realize that she's not yet at the top of her game.

"I'm still working towards finding what it is that really makes me feel like I've arrived. I've not found that yet," Hill tells Dial-Global. "It's always inspiring -- just like a piece of art that you see on a wall -- I get inspired by everything I see. I loved Carrie Underwood's performance on the ACMs. I thought she was spunky and on fire. And then when Taylor Swift came out and ripped that suit off and the rain came down, I'm like, 'Whoooooo, that was awesome!' You want to see something fresh and different and exciting. You've got to keep people's interest up. And I applaud them for that."

Hill is adding something fresh and different to her own repertoire: her first holiday album. The disc, titled 'Joy to the World,' is backed by an orchestra and two London-based choirs. It includes several classic carols such as 'Winter Wonderland,' and also one original song called 'A Baby Changes Everything.' The album is due in stores September 16.
