John Michael Montgomery is back on the road after completing a month-long stay in a Nashville rehab facility. The country singer sought treatment for anxiety attacks and a sleep disorder. Montgomery blames his health issues on years of "roadin' and drinkin'" and on several injuries."I guess the last five years, having hip surgeries, leg surgeries, and a lot of the stress of touring, it just all added up," Mongomery told the Flint Journal. "I just felt lost. My brain wanted to go, but my body said no. It's like you wake up one day, and life slaps you in the face and says, 'You need to figure out where you're going here.' [Rehab] was a good break for me, a time to regroup."
Montgomery plans to release 'Time Flies' -- his first album on his own label -- on September 9.

I have never heard of John Michael Montgomery...guess it is because I am not a country music fan. I do however wish him the best after his rehab stay. At least he had done something before it was too late.

I'm wary of rehab stories these days. You look at 30, 40, or 50 years of musicians and celebrities that had the same or worse problems and made it without rehab. It seems like a publicity stunt these days. Maybe I would believe it under different circumstances, but rehab for stress and a midlife crisis, TWO MONTHS before his new album is released smells like BULLS**T to me.

Yeah whatever.. you are not Amy Winehouse. Now that girl can party and writes better songs than you ever will.. Sure she will be dead within the next year or so but she will be remembered and you will be coming out of rehab...for the umpteenth time. They tried to send me to rehab. I said no, no , no.

Hope you can feel the love man. The love from God and the love from this lady musician who has been there and done that. Those years in Pegasus, on the road, at the bars, always giving 100% sure took it's toll on me and my thoughts are with you now. Be strong and always know we are here for you. God Bless..hold on to your music for it not only is your art, it is the key that can free your soul. God Bless
