Marcus Nirschl, the man who was kicked out of a Tim McGraw concert last week in Auburn, Wash., has been making the media rounds to tell his side of the story. The 30-year-old fan was pulled up on stage and shoved by the country star after an apparent ruckus in the front row of the concert. While Nirschl claims he was being pushed and never intentionally hurt anyone, McGraw's camp insists the singer witnessed Nirschl attack a woman on the front row. Now it's that woman's turn to tell her side."He pounded his way through the crowd like a linebacker," concert-goer Tonia Hohagen said of Nirschl during an interview with Tacoma's News Tribune.
"The next thing I know, my hair is being pulled," said Hohagen's sister, Rae Lynn Doughty, adding that Nirschl also punched her in the thigh. "His face was just totally stoic . . . Even when he reached up and punched me, he was just stoic."
Hohagen and Doughty say they're disgusted at Nirschl's sudden fame out of the whole ordeal, fueled by the YouTube video of the incident and by his several media interviews in the last week.
"It seems kind of weird that this guy is getting (positive attention)," Doughty said. "You know what? You were a jerk. You were abusive. Whether you recognize it or not because you were so drunk, who knows? But that's just not OK."
Nirschl insists he doesn't remember grabbing or punching anyone. He says that any aggression on his part was accidental.
"I was just making my way up to my seat because I wanted to be up there when he started 'Indian Outlaw,'" he told CMT. "I was getting shoved up against some empty seats, and I may have pushed some people when I was trying to get my balance. But I didn't grab nobody's hair, and I didn't hit nobody. I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet."
Nirschl was escorted out of the venue but was not arrested. He admits he had a few beers that night but said he wasn't drunk.
"I'm a big guy," he told the News Tribune, laughing. "I can drink an 18-pack and still be sober."
Several witnesses refute that. One off-duty sheriff's deputy working security at the concert said Nirschl was indeed visibly drunk. Other fans say they smelled beer on his breath. Still, Nirschl says he may hire a lawyer to prove otherwise.
"I'm tired of the false accusations, really," said the ejected fan. "Because I'm not a bad guy . . . and the last thing I want to do is hit a girl."

Finally someone reports both sides. This guy's 15 minutes need to be over!

I saw nothing in this video that make Tim's actions warranted. I am quite sure there are plenty of wannabe women who would come forward in defense of Tim. It's highly unlikely that they will be believable. If this so called woman was hurt, why didn't she seek help after wards. This is so lame. Tim McGraw you are an Asshole.

I never liked Tim or his wife. They always seem to need attention. Sorry but bigger, younger and better Artists have taken over your little spotlight. Get over it Tim.

I never liked Tim or Faith. They have always seemed like the type who loves the spotlight. Due to their decreasing fame, this is another one of their white trash moves to make them look tough. Screw them both. Bigger, Better and Prettier Artists have taken over your spots for good.

Those two sisters look like white trash. What ugly old hags. I'm sure they need attention. Can't tell which party was lying here. Too bad, Tim is a fag anyway.

Sorry but by the looks of theses chicks, I can't tell whose lying. The case remains open. They need a make over.

Apparently the drunk guy's friends are slamming Tim to throw "public opinion" into the drunk's corner. Do you think it will help in his lawsuit that he obviously is planning since he is getting an attorney? I'm sure that all the witnesses who confirm the guy's drunken behavior are all just in it for the attention. Those who feel how the women look matters here are imbeciles. So if they were hot, it wouldn't be OK for a big drunk guy to pull their hair and punch them, but since they aren't, it is? Obviously you don't show up in civilized places often.

Come on people - can anyone say SET UP - first, when have you ever been to a concert that security was not around the first rows---- I would fire their tails if that was really the case - he didn't even resist when being pulled up on stage the way one would if out of control - my husband was a bouncer many many years in a red neck club - get real Tim - you are just trying to make it look like you have some balls cause your wife cut them off a few weeks back when some chick grabbed them LOL
Loriat 7-02-2008
well lets try this again -------can you say SET UP - give us all a break when have you ever been to a concert and the front rows not had security nearby - you would fire their tail if they had been this lax - and come on he didn't even resist when you had a hard time pulling him up on stage - my husband worked years as a bouncer in a red neck bar out of control drunks do not calm down this fast - you just set this up to try and prove you had some balls after your wife publically cut yours off last cause some woman tried to grab em.....make it look a little more believable next time Tim find a real redneck,,,,,,

I'm quite sure the ugly, white trash women smelled their own drunken, smoking selves. Stop trying to defend these ugly coyotes.

OK Mr. Nirschl you say your a big guy and a nice guy, so then why not just admit you were drunk and you were wrong, and apologize, and be done with it. I've heard it takes a big guy to admit he was wrong.

If you watch the youtube video and you are watching the crowd and not Tim, then you can see something is going on in the crowd. Exactly what you cannot tell from this particular video. Tim was looking in that direction and I am sure he knows exactly what he saw. I am sure he is used to a crowd getting a little wild but obviously there was more to it this time. The guy was just too drunk to even know what was going on or what he did. No charges were pressed. He should apologize and that be the end of it. The appearance of these women should even be of concern. Just because they are not "hotties" people are talking bad about them. How many of you are "hotties" that are talking about these women? How would you feel if this happened to you?? Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you decide to judge them. You really shouldn't be judging them anyway. God is the only one that should judge people. Are you perfect?

Oh and just because a few beers doesn't make you drunk normally, doesn't mean it wouldnt every time big boy. You probably can't even tell you're drunk. Take the class that requires you to get an alcohol license big boy and learn something..since you say you didn't pull anyone's hair BUT "if you did you don't remember". Screw all you people that think it was wrong. Put yourself in those peoples place. I'd kick your ass too!

This video is so laughable. Tim is a redneck bully. I'm sure plenty white trash women would love their 15 minutes of fame hoping to meet Tim. I am not buying this garbage. Tim is and will always be a DICK!
