Blake Shelton Gets the Bird

Blake Shelton is known for his sense of humor almost as much as he is for his music. And sometimes the singer's comedic side rubs off on his fans, in a not-so-polite way.

"They think it's fun, because of the 'Some Beach' video, to flip me off. They assume that that's flattering to me and so I flip 'em off back and they love it," Shelton tells Dial-Global. "That's kind of the relationship that I have with my fans. I think that's why they call themselves 'B.S.er's,' because none of them take themselves or me that seriously."

Shelton, who just celebrated his 32nd birthday, is hoping to celebrate a No. 1 hit soon. His latest single, 'Home,' is is sitting at No. 2 on the country charts for the second week in a row. He performed the song on Monday night's episode of 'Nashville Star.'

I live in Whitesboro, Texas, and yesterday afternoon around 2pm I could have sworn I saw Blake Shelton pulling into the McDonald's parking lot just as I was leaving. Not wanting to make a fool of myself, I made a round through the parking lot and while I didn't get a second close look at him, I'm almost positive it was him! He was riding in a small Jeep Liberty and there was a tiny lil' gal in the front seat - Miranda?? If my eyes didn't deceive me, I'm still at a loss as to why on earth he'd be in Whitesboro, Texas of all places! lol

Maybe I'm not seeing things then. Was it a blue Jeep Liberty? I thought I had lost my mind and was seeing things also. We pulled into Whataburger in Gainesville around 11:00 and I thought I saw them backing out. Of course no one in the vehicle believed me. When they left they were headed towards.. yep... Whitesboro. If we had just stopped there first instead of driving down a little farther to see what other fast food places Gainesville had to offer and coming back we might have met them. My wife and girls are huge Miranda fans and we had just popped in Miranda's latest CD to. Of course I was objecting wanting to play Blake's ;-P. They must eat a lot, because it's only like 25 to 30 minutes to Whitesboro from Gainesville ... Right?
