George Strait is celebrating the holidays a little early. The country legend has recorded a 'Classic Christmas' album, to be released October 7. The CD will include ten traditional holiday songs, handpicked by Strait. "I wanted to put together a collection of my favorite traditional Christmas songs that I grew up listening to," Strait explains. "It was hard to narrow it down to ten of them, but I think I've done it. I hope these songs bring back good memories for my fans like they have for me."
This will be the third holiday album in Strait's discography. He released 'Merry Christmas Strait to You' in 1986 and 'Merry Christmas Wherever You Are' in 1999.
