Shania Twain Moving On After Split

Shania Twain has two tools for mending her broken heart: music and her 6-year-old son, Eja.

"She's spending as much time with Eja as possible and hasn't put down her guitar since the split," a source close to Twain tells PEOPLE magazine. "The songs are pouring out of her."

Twain made headlines back in May when she announced her separation from husband of 14 years, Robert "Mutt" Lange. The demise of her marriage, allegedly caused by an affair between Lange and a close family friend, has not kept her at home either. Since the split, she has been spotted vacationing in the Caribbean and shopping in her native Canada.

As for the new music she's writing on the road, it's not confirmed yet when we'll hear it. But we do know there's likely a plethora of material for a new CD.

"I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music," Twain writes on her website. "This is my therapy, my passion, and my love. I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey. I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever. Thank you my friends, from the bottom of my heart."

Mutt risked his marriage for a new relationship which may not even have a future. Shania can and will do better, she's a fighter. We know that she needs time to heal her broken heart, but we wish the music would come faster, it's been so long since we had a studio record and a concert tour.

God bless Shania. I love every song you sing. Makes my Heart feel so good. Do us another tour and have it made to a CD. I love watching you and your band perform. Great of the Greatest. I have all your CD's and your Videos. Love to watch them every nite. Hold your Baby always close to your Heart. He is the reason for living. You are sure not a quitter. Someone as talented and beautiful as Shania will find love again soon. Shes had alot of sadness in her life, but shes strong. All your fans are praying for you and hope you come out with a new cd soon,we've missed you and love you.God be with you.

I have always loved you as an entertainer and a person. I have also respected you for what you have been through before you met Mutt. You were strong then, and you will perservere through this as well. Just continue what you do best, sing and take care of Aja. God bless you Shania, you will make it.

Shania has always been and will continue to be my most favorite singer and person. We are so much alike in so many ways. But I am not mucially inclined, I've been rasied on a farm and bought my home on a farm next to my father to help take care of him as he is single and poor health. I divorcedf for same with 2 very small children and then put my self back through school for 7 years and now have my master's degress in psychology. But I love my horses and in a time of need they can be a best friend. they are so serine and yet so strong. Taches us to have the cvourage to be strong and endure what we have to and perservere. I love you gilr God bless you. And Your music is powerful and touching and geniune.Mystical. mona
