'Come on Over' is the first single from Simpson's upcoming country album, 'Do You Know?,' which is set for release on September 9. The title track is a duet with Dolly Parton, who wrote the song specifically for Simpson.
It such a great song," says Simpson. "I'm so blessed to be able to sing with her on it . . . She is so much a part of me finding myself as an artist."
Simpson will be giving country fans a preview of her new CD as she hits the road this summer, playing at several fairs and festivals. See a list of concert dates here.

well, isn't that special, the stupid one decides to use sex after all, since during the video, she moves like she has a stick up her ass, moves her eyes like a chimp being trained with a banana swinging in front of her, and generally no different than her and Lachey's show only she lip-synchs instead of spouting dumbness. She is showing how high her level of desperate is, why not let the bimbo out to pasture. She has plenty of money,plainly insulted the great female artists of country music, so why not, 'go on over', to another side, like stay home dunce?

well, i do not think this is going to do anything for her career. i do think she will probably be compared to carrie underwood, but carrie is established and country music is her true roots. jessica needs to find out what she wants.

I think that it is about time this young lady found herself! She was not making it in the pop world, she can't dance and her songs were not hits and she definitely has a voice for country. I think she will do a good job on the country channel. Good Luck to her!
