'Come on Over' is the first single from Simpson's upcoming country album, 'Do You Know?,' which is set for release on September 9. The title track is a duet with Dolly Parton, who wrote the song specifically for Simpson.
It such a great song," says Simpson. "I'm so blessed to be able to sing with her on it . . . She is so much a part of me finding myself as an artist."
Simpson will be giving country fans a preview of her new CD as she hits the road this summer, playing at several fairs and festivals. See a list of concert dates here.

well, isn't that special, the stupid one decides to use sex after all, since during the video, she moves like she has a stick up her ass, moves her eyes like a chimp being trained with a banana swinging in front of her, and generally no different than her and Lachey's show only she lip-synchs instead of spouting dumbness. She is showing how high her level of desperate is, why not let the bimbo out to pasture. She has plenty of money,plainly insulted the great female artists of country music, so why not, 'go on over', to another side, like stay home dunce?

Great. I didn't see Dolly do anything for Carrie. I don't think Jessica needs to prove anything to anybody. Don't make her the bad guy.

well, i do not think this is going to do anything for her career. i do think she will probably be compared to carrie underwood, but carrie is established and country music is her true roots. jessica needs to find out what she wants.

I think she was awesome, and I liked the song. It was great seeing another side of her, and I think she will make a great country singer. I agree, I like her better singing country, but who doesn't like Jessica?

YEA RIGHT !!! If I did go over it would be to Carrie's house not hers. She will never be anything close to what Carrie is. She needs to keep trying to look pretty and stop singing. Leave the country singing to a real country girl.
