Tim McGraw has signed on to star in the movie, 'Get Low,' alongside veteran actor Robert Duvall. The drama is tentatively set for release in spring of 2009. There's no word yet on the plot of the movie.This will be the country star's sixth film and his second with Duvall. The two also star in the comedy 'Four Christmases,' which is due out later this year and also stars Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Sissy Spacek and Dwight Yoakam.

I love watching him perform and also act. He himself is a class act. Not many people would take in their dad who had nothing to do with them while they grew up. Then take wonderful care of them when they became sick and were dying. Hats off to both Tim and Faith for their compassion

I was at the Stagecoach Festival and let me tell ya, if you look at the pictures of him singing it looks like he is closing his eyes in the moment of the song, wrong, we think he was stoned out of his mind. He first came out with his eyes just a little messed up but by the 3rd or 4th song he could barely keep them open. On one song he sang the verse twice. I am not uncool. I too have enjoyed many a party ;), but when people have paid up to $1000 a ticket to see a concert and you are the key draw, show your fans a little respect and wait to party with Big and Rich AFTER you perform. lol!! He does have a wonderful voice though, and some awesome songs!

I liked Tim until I saw him in concert. He was playing the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. He forgot the words to not one, But three of his songs. I felted a bit let down. We spent a good deal of money for good seats. His opening act, The Los Lonely Boys were wonderful. I'll never go see him again...

Not Entertainment/Looks department ladies.Hence that is why it is called Music.His music is Pop.Don't pretend it's Country.It should be called "Urban Pop Country"!!

I was at the same Hollywood Bowl concert. FYI...he does that as a joke and so the fans can join in.
As far as the George Strait and Elvis comments, there is no comparison, so why?
And Tim has over 20 some number ones....give him time. George still has a few years on him.
As far as the hat comment goes, go watch a Tim movie you idiot. He takes his hat off
