While most of her friends were getting their diplomas in caps and gowns, Taylor Swift got hers in the mail. The teen sensation was unable to attend the ceremony, given that she was out having the time of her life, on tour with Rascal Flatts. "There's something really exciting about getting to live your dream and continue your education at the same time," she told The Associated Press.
"Education has always been at the forefront of my priorities, so I'm really glad to have my diploma," said Swift, who attended public school for 9th and 10th grade, but needed more flexibility afterwards and switched to a private Christian school that offered home-schooling.
At just 18 years old, Swift's debut album has sold in excess of three million copies. Her new CD/DVD set, 'Beautiful Eyes,' made its debut last week at No. 1 on the charts.
