A brand-new tune from Taylor Swift is set to premiere on NBC's broadcast of the 2008 Olympic Games. 'Change' will be one of the songs played on daily video highlights during the Olympics. The song was hand selected by Team USA athletes and NBC for its lyrical content about overcoming challenges.'Change' will be available on iTunes starting this Friday, with all proceeds benefiting Team USA. It will also appear on Swift's upcoming sophomore album, due for release this fall.
In addition to her Olympic gold, Swift is also celebrating being named Choice Breakout Artist at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards earlier this week.
"It really means a lot to win an award voted on by people my age!" says the teen superstar. "Fan voted awards mean more to me than anything else, so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted!"
