Wooooooooooooooooooooow!!! is all that i can say. i do not believe that Toby Keith is racist at all, i just believe that it is obvious that he has not been exposed to a lot of black people. So although his comments were subtle racism, i do not blame him for his comments. I am a young black woman who has grown up in nyc, and from experience i can just tell you that TK is not the only person to think that way. We live in a time where there are a lot of misconceptions about people. When i wore my hair long, people either assumed that i was mixed or that it was fake simply because i have dark skin. Some people watch those rap videos and think that all black men are gangstas, the women are booty shakin ghetto ho's, and quite frankly, that is very annoying. That's like saying that all blondes are big breasted bimbos, or that young white men are all depressed emos. That's just the type of society we live in, when a small percentage represents a whole. There's nothing wrong with rap music, at all. It just holds the same stereotypes for those who listen to it as does for those who listen to rock, punk, country, classical, reggae, and etc. Even though TK's comments were rather insulting towards black people, its understandable, sad still, but understandable. I just hope he'll be able to find more people who could prove his interpretations of black people wrong.

When is the different of Black and white going to stop? why can't we just look as people as people? If they are Mixed do we look at them as White Or Black? are they not Just people who cry, bleed and feel just like every one else. I am tried of hearing black and white and how someone acts a certain way. this world will never progress untill people stop looking at color and start looking at people as human, no one should be in office for there color but for the job they do for our country.
people have made the choice to keep color a problem, and its time to stop looking at the persons color and religion and start looking at the person. If we vote for OB because of color then we have a problem, because every one neede to remember that HE IS MIXED.....His MOTHER IS WHITE...so now where does color come in... YOU know what they say... what ever the mother is is what the child is. So Is he black or white? Or maybe we can say he is Just a person. Toby Keith needs to stop talking and sing as he is just as bad as every one else that wants to keep color and issue...

I like to think of the world as a box of crayons. Made up of pretty colors and each has its place in the rainbow, something that bring beauty and aw when we look at it.

Come election time i am voting for who i will safe with NO MATTER WHAT THEIR COLOR, as I try not to look at the color of ones skin but at the person, what they are made of and what they are, Still having a color issue is so sad. we should be well pass this by now. Toby K remarks to me were stupid, and just shows that he still looks at color, and tried to candy coat it.

It is sad to think that in this day and age we still have so many IGNORANT and pitful people. What is acting and talking black? Why when you come across an educated man with charisma, sex appeal and a hell of a swagger he has to act or think he is white. Why are you so scared of us, contrary to what your may have thought,we are here to stay and have always been here. It is time for all of the history books to finally be rewritten.

You know, that comment made by Toby isn't racist at all. I'm African American, and there is some truth to what he said. There are some peopleout there who actually think like that. I grew up in one of the worse projects in Philly. Most of the people at my work and some of my friends didn't believe me when I told them that. They say that they thought that I grew up in the suburbs because of the way that I act or speak. Yes, there are people that believe that just because you come from a bad neighborhood that you are supposed to talk and act a certain way. But it isn't only coming from African Americans, everyone else thinks the same way. I've heard some ignorant people say just what Toby said. It's sad, but it's true that if you act with some dignity or speak well that you are labeled as acting "white". I think that everyone should at the very least try to speak properly and act like thay have some damn sense.

So Toby Keith has polled al the members of the black community to know this fo sure. Wow all I csn say is "it's official". I;m glad the radio host asked what he meant because please tell me what is talking white , talking black, talking anything.

THANK YOU TOBY! I am not a fan but at least he says what we all KNOW. And before you all start with the racist crap, if a black man doesn't go along with the crowd, who calls him "Uncle Tom"? Not whites thats for sure. Its the blacks. Now who are the racists? The double standard is getting old. I Am White, I am Proud and I do not look at the color of a person to know them. DO YOUR HOMEWORK People. Do not vote for anyone just because of his skin color!!!!!!!

Now this is one man who should learn to leave his mouth closed, forget the dixie chicks, i burned everything i own by this blow hard.
