A bus that is part of Kenny Chesney's Poets and Pirates tour was in a minor accident Wednesday in Jackson, Miss. Chesney was not riding in the bus when it collided with a car on Interstate 55, sending the car crashing into a concrete barrier. Only the driver and two stage technicians were onboard. They were not injured, but the driver of the car was taken to a local hospital. There is no word yet on her condition, nor on who was at fault in the accident. Click here for photos from the scene.Chesney's bus was on its way to New Orleans, where the singer is scheduled to perform tonight. Chesney was visiting Jackson as part of what's become a yearly ritual for him -- practicing with the New Orleans Saints. Chesney suited up and joined the team Monday at their last day of training camp at Millsaps College. The highlight of his practice: catching a 45-yard punt.

To all you driving idiots who think that the ACTUAL ARTIST is on those big wrapped busses: GET A CLUE!!! 99 percent of the time, the crew is stuck on these giant rolling billboards (I know- I get stuck on those ugly P.O.S. all the time), AND our busses have been plowed into on the highway more than once by some freakin moron that is trying (without success) to drive and gawk at the same time.. 70 m.p.h. acrobatics by these jerks, following and swerving around the bus for miles is something that is dangerous for everyone involved, especially the 12 crew members and driver on board.
You want to be a fan? Buy a freakin ticket to the show...
