An all-star list of female artists, including Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Miley Cyrus and Sheryl Crow, have united to record a charity single, 'Just Stand Up.' The song will raise money in support of Stand Up To Cancer, a benefit funding ground-breaking cancer research. The song was produced by the incredible team of Antonio 'L.A.' Reid and Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds and also includes vocals by Melissa Etheridge, Beyonce, Fergie, Mary J. Blige, Natasha Bedingfield, Mariah Carey and Rihanna. It will be released to radio and available to purchase exclusively on iTunes beginning September 2.
'Just Stand Up' will be performed live Friday, September 5 on a special, commercial-free show broadcast simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC. Other celebrities scheduled for personal appearances or phone answering include Lance Armstrong, Christina Applegate, Jennifer Aniston, Katie Couric, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, America Ferrera, Neil Patrick Harris, Hilary Swank, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon and many more.
