Pat Green was coldcocked by a cold one at a concert Saturday in Michigan. The Texas crooner was performing at the Michigan International Speedway after the NASCAR Carfax 250 race. Toward the end of his show, he reportedly asked the audience, "Anyone got a beer?" A fan responded by throwing a cold can of beer on stage, hitting Green right between the eyes and knocking him out.Paramedics treated Green at the race track. Luckily, he wasn't seriously injured.

When he was a NOBODY, he performed in my little hometown outside of Houston Texas. Whenthe turnout for his concert ended up to be crappy he threw a fit and swore to never play in our town again.
Keep in mind, that was back when he was even a nobody in Texas Country.... now he's gone all Nashville.

For those of you living under a rock, Pat Green is a terrific singer/songwriter with a great deal of talent. He's played this pokey little town, drew a good crown and put on a great show.

Years back before Charley Pride became known, he sang at a little country club in Denver. There wasn't a huge turnpout, but he took it in stride and laughed and said that he didn't know he had such a huge fan club! He was terrific, and a great performer, and afterwards, he remained on stage mand "chatted" with the audience! Another like that is Willy Nelson, even as famous as he is, he doesn't let his fame over-rule. Don't let a few downgrade all the others, you'll find these sort throughout the entertainment world. There still are a lot of decent folk out there, regardless what they are or who they are, just don't judge them all by a few!

Duh. Road musicians make their living by playing to paying customers. If he can't make money at your town, he's got to go elsewhere. It has nothing to do with being "all Nashville" it has to do with having to pay union scale to the side musicians and roadies. Tell your town to put up the money in advance and he'll be back.
