Carrie Underwood Rings Up Another Million-Seller

Carrie Underwood's latest award has a nice ring to it. With the ringtone for her first single, 'Jesus Take the Wheel,' reaching sales of one million, the superstar becomes the first country artist to earn two Platinum Mastertone certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Underwood became only the second country artist in history to have a song certified as a Platinum Mastertone when 'Before He Cheats,' also from her debut album, reached sales of one million ringtones in June 2007.

The first country artist to earn a Platinum Mastertone, by the way, was Waylon Jennings, whose 'Theme from Dukes of Hazzard' was certified platinum in March 2007.Big & Rich's 'Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy' and Gretchen Wilson's 'Redneck Woman' have also achieved Platinum Mastertone status.
