Kenny Chesney's 'Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven' is rapidly climbing the charts, and now the artist who first introduced the song to Chesney is making his version available. George Strait recorded the song for his album 'Troubadour,' and although it didn't make the final cut when the CD was released earlier this year, he's issuing the tune as a digital download.Strait first played the song for Chesney on a tour stop in Montgomery, Ala. When Strait decided not to include it on his album, Chesney jumped at the chance to record his own version. The single is Chesney's first from his upcoming 'Lucky Old Sun' album. Strait's version is not expected to be released as a single.
