Jessica Simpson's country debut, 'Do You Know,' claims the No. 1 spot on the country albums chart this week. The CD sold 65,000 copies in its first week, making it the No. 4 best-selling album this week in all genres, behind Metallica, Young Jeezy and Kid Rock's new CDs.'Do You Know' features eight songs co-written by Simpson, who says she hopes this album will steal the spotlight from her personal life.
"I hope that it gets people back to Jessica Simpson the singer," she told The Boot. "I just really want people to see my heart through my music."
