Aaron Tippin joined forces with Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin at the Road to Victory rally in Johnstown, Pa. this week. The theme of the rally, 'Drill Here, Drill Now,' is also the title of Tippin's latest single, making him an obvious choice to host the event. Its goal was to promote a petition calling for more American-made energy.Driving through the night in time to make it to the rally, Tippin joked, "Governor Palin is working 24/7, and I'm just trying to keep up! ... Here in Pennsylvania and across this land, there's a saying, 'When you talk the talk, you better walk the walk.' This lady talks the talk because she walks the walk!"
Tippin has been very outspoken in his support of the McCain/Palin ticket. Last week, he performed 'Drill, Baby, Drill' on the TV show, Fox and Friends, and he also joined Newt Gingrich for an interview on the conservative talk show, 'The Sean Hannity Show.' He is scheduled to perform at another rally today in Indianapolis.
