Fresh from her supporting role on Brad Paisley's electrified Paisley Party tour, Jewel takes center stage early next year for a solo acoustic headlining tour. She's scored a Top 15 country hit, 'Stronger Woman,' and a chart-topping country album, 'Perfectly Clear,' in addition to her previous pop albums. With a variety of material to choose from, Jewel says she's looking forward to the intimate, acoustic setting these shows will offer fans. The tour begins in Windsor, Ontario, on January 23, with dates announced through February 8. More tour dates are expected to be announced soon.
Jewel is also slated to participate in the second annual 'A Kiss for Country' philanthropic campaign with Mary Kay Inc. The campaign will raise funds for domestic violence prevention through the sale of specially designed celebrity "kiss cards" on uBid.com from November 11 to December 12, 2008.
