Hank Williams, Jr. Considering Senate Run

Hank Williams, Jr. palled around with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin during her vice-presidential bid, making several stops with her on the campaign trail in support of the GOP ticket. Now it appears that Bocephus may have political aspirations of his own.

"You might be looking at the next senator from Tennessee, if this keeps up. And I ain't kidding!" Hank Jr. told Music City TV last week.

While he has yet to form an exploratory committee, establish a campaign headquarters, or officially declare himself a candidate for the office, Hank Jr. said he has recently talked to former Tennessee Senators Bill Frist and Fred Thompson.

Hank also revealed that Governor Palin's kids are huge fans of another pal of his -- Kid Rock. So, he put Kid on the phone with Palin and her children during 'Monday Night Football' last week. Naturally, they were surprised. Hank says they shrieked with delight.

"They were, 'Oh God!' It was funny. It was really funny," says Hank.

I doubt that he will run. This is probably an article just to get people to argue and it worked. He has too many skeletons in the closet. If he truly does run, he needs to go ahead and come clean before the media digs up all his dirt.

HANK WILLIAMS JR. HAS MORE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORY AND THE WAY AMERICA IS RUN AND SHOULD BE RUN, THAN THE WHOLE NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT AND HIS CREW COMBINED.

BUT I SEE NOW BY READING THESE BLOG'S HOW OBAMA GOT ELECTED PRESIDENT, NO ONE READ OR STUDIED UP ON HIM BEFORE THEY VOTED.

NEVER FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM, ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING!

I think Hank has to many skelatons in his closet. There are tapes out there of performances in which he was so drunk he only played for 10 minutes. I have met Hank many times because I worked for a every famous country group and Hank did many shows for us. The guy liked to party hard and while I like Hank, I think that any Senate run would quickly turn into an embarressing situation.

Let the spoilt brat loud mouth run. He can't
sing or play music either. He will run as a
Republican and get beat by a Democrat so it
will just give the Democrats another seat.
Run, run abd run play boy.

We are sick of the Kennedys, Clintons, Pelosi, Reid, Franks, Dodds, etc. and it looks like we are having Obama cramed down our throats till we are sick of it. The majority are going to have to come together and get rid of these who are destroying this country. We are stuck for the next four years whether we like it or not. We need somebody to stand up for the majority. We need those 40 million who didn't vote to stand with us and stomp out the Democratic Crooks who is tanking this country.

We are sick of the lawyer types in Washington right now. They have just about destroyed the values in this country. They are so in the tank for the minorities of this country. They tromp all over marriage and give gays and lesbians more power than they should. We are totally ignored. They listen to athiest instead of good hard working Christian people. Somebody has got to stick up for decent Americans. Please Hank run!

Chris Mathews' contract ends within a year and he says he's running for public office. That is as scary as Obama. Chris says Obama gives him a thrill up his leg. God, how gross is that. Hank, please run and bring more with you. Get someone in the state Chris will be running in and we will all chip in to beat the hell out of Chris. We don't want that freak from MSNBC running for anything.
