In commemoration of World AIDS Day (December 1), the Dixie Chicks have contributed a new song, 'Lucky Ones,' to a new digital music magazine called RED(Wire). It's the trio's first release since winning five Grammys in 2007.A $5 subscription allows users to receive a new issue of the magazine every Wednesday, with either an exclusive song from a major artist, a song from a new artist, or a multimedia piece. Proceeds will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa.
Other artists teaming with the magazine include Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, U2, Coldplay, John Legend, R.E.M. and Bob Dylan. Collaborations include Elvis Costello and the Police, as well as the Killers, Elton John and the Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant.

Don't Care!

George Bush has done more against Aids than any President since Aids came on the scene. I wonder if Natalie will have any comment about that.

if there are people out there all bent out of shape about 2003, well... GET OVER IT! I mean, they were RIGHT, weren't they? Find another reason to hate.. move on.

I agree completely with your comment. They were right, and, I am amazed that people still hold it against them. They are incredibly talented, and, have as much right to express opinions as the losers who dislike them.

We can do without these 3 losers. It's a shame they let their mouths and politics override their good sense. They made some great music, but I no longer care to hear those who put down our president (no matter who he is) and by inference, our country, while on a foreign tour. GOODBYE Earl.. errr.. CHICKS.

maggiejwl,
Your comment was well put. No matter what your views, have some pride in your country. I always wondered what that comment could have done to some of the boys and gals overseas fighting.
Whether I agree or disagree with war, once they are deployed over there, let's support and appreciate them by having pride in our country. Their comments would be well put here where a well thought out and well stated opinion can make a difference. Spouting abroad just makes our whole country look bad and doesn't change anything.
I don't care what the problems or who the president. Use your free speech and privilege of voting to make a difference HERE. That comment abroad was about the same as trashing your family to outsiders... your family may have issues, but work on it at home.

Except in this instance, they were in a country whose leaders decided to take them to war with us. So it's more like talking about your cousins in their house if you ask me.
