Taylor Swift continues achieving milestones in her unstoppable career. The 19-year-old superstar was just named Top Country Artist of 2008 by Billboard magazine. But Swift insists she is focusing more on her fans and less on the accolades. "I'd really love to make tours that people want to go out and see because they know they're gonna see something different," she tells GAC. "With awards show performances we've kind of dabbled with that ... just try to do things that are a little bit different and maybe push the envelope a little bit. And I would really like to make a tour full of moments like that."
Swift was deemed Top Country Artist based on a compilation of data from weekly charts. With more than 5 million copies of her debut and sophomore CD combined, she is country's best-selling artist of '08. Carrie Underwood came in at No. 2, followed by Sugarland, George Strait and Rascal Flatts. Swift also placed on Billboard's Top Artist list covering all genres, coming in at No. 5 behind behind Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Rihanna and Alicia Keys.
