Kid Rock has proven he can make music that defies all genres and still appeals to listeners. His latest album, 'Rock N Roll Jesus,' is at double-platinum sales status and climbing. His Grammy-nominated single 'All Summer Long' went No. 1 in the U.S., as well as in six other countries, and is being played on rock, pop and country stations. "It's the music I love. It's who I am as a person. People say I'm creatively confused or whatever they call it, but I just honestly enjoy music," he tells CMT.
That confusion may transcend into his social life, as well. With a wide circle of friends that encompasses everyone from rappers to country folk, Kid Rock finds that his eclectic life helps him creatively.
"I have a house in California, so whenever I have dinner over there, it's like my science experiment of how many different people I can get to come over," he explains. "I'll get Josh Groban, Kenny Chesney, my rapper buddy and this guy from the Eagles ... I really enjoy that in life. Bringing people together is one of my favorite things. I believed that's what a rock 'n' roll Jesus would really do -- bring people together through music."
However, one person who may not be a fan of Kid Rock's music is his own mother. While he insists that most moms adore him, his own would like to see him tone down the language a bit. "She'll hear songs and say, 'Why do you have to say that stuff?'" He told her, "Some people enjoy it, Mom."

If you bother to look at the liner notes in the cd, you would see that he listed EVERYBODY that had written each song...Warren Zevon, and the writers from Skynard. Credit was given and permission was asked. Nobody was ripped off, all will get their part of the royalties.

I'm not a big fan of Kid Rock, but I respect him as one of the most respected songwriters today. He's sold over a hundred songs I think it is to other major acts.
Hate him or love him, or like me, take or leave him, he's definaitely one talented son of a gun.

I'm sure he got permission to use it. Besides, rappers have used AC/DC and Black Sabbath's stuff in their background music. I was one of the few 20somethings that actually noticed it was "Werewolves of London" in the background...everybody else kept saying "No that's Sweet Home Alabama!" and I had to tell them "No it's not, It's Warren Zevon. Go listen to 'Sweet Home Alabama' again and then go listen to 'Werewolves of London' and tell me which one it is." They all have to get permission before they use it.

Kid Rock has no talent what so ever! He is about the biggest moron alive. He reminds me of another loser.... Madonna..... like her, he only sings off of controversy.... has to add that F word so he can be percieved as cool. What a freaking idiot!!! What is more scary are the idiots that made his album sell.
