Jonas Brothers' Country Fans Invade Nashville Show

Two-thousand screaming fans were on hand as Nashville was gripped by Jonas Brothers fever this past weekend. The pop trio were in town to perform at the Ryman Auditorium, and in addition to their many pop hits, Kevin, Joe and Nick offered up an impressive Nashville music-industry contigent.

Introduced by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, the Jonases were joined by Martina McBride, who contributed a show-stopping 'Indepedence Day.' They also welcomed Brad Paisley, who honored a personal request from Kevin Jonas to sing 'Waitin' on a Woman' -- Kevin's favorite song of 2008.

Contemporary Christian singer Michael W. Smith performed his massive crossover hit, 'Place in This World,' and Amy Grant sang 'Baby, Baby,' a smash pop hit when the Jonases were just baby, babies themselves.

Phil Vassar, Vince Gill and Steven Curtis Chapman joined the pop idols for their song, 'The Weight.' 'American Idol 'champ Jordin Sparks was joined by Joe Jonas, who stood in for her usual duet partner Chris Brown on 'No Air.' Finally, the show closed with all of the guests returning to the stage for a rendition of 'American Pie.'

MusicCity TV reports the trio also visited another venerable Nashville spot, the Pancake Pantry, for Sunday breakfast.
