Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert have scored opening slots on what could likely be the biggest country tour of 2009: Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival. The tour's 50 cross-country dates kick off April 17 in Uncasville, Ct."After a few months off, all I can think is, 'When are we getting back out there?'" Chesney writes on his website. "We have so many friends that we see when we look out every night ... to be able to get out there and rock with them, well, it's the reason me and the guys do this!"
Toby Keith has also announced new opening acts, as he starts the second leg of his Biggest and Baddest Tour. Jason Aldean is on the bill this month, while Jack Ingram will take over the opening slot in February.
Pat Green also has a new touring mate this year, as Randy Houser has signed on to open for the Texas superstar in the Jagermeister Country Music Tour. Visit TourTracker to check for stops in your city.
