Faith Hill will sing 'America the Beautiful' before Super Bowl XLIII. The country songbird joins an elite group of only three other artists who've performed that song during the game's preshow -- Ray Charles, Alicia Keys and Vicki Carr.Faith has become a familiar face in the NFL over the years, performing the national anthem at the 2000 Super Bowl and singing 'Waiting All Week for Sunday Night' before every Sunday night NFL game for the past two seasons.
Super Bowl XLIII is February 1 in Tampa, Fla. The pregame show, featuring Faith, will start at 1 PM ET on NBC. Jennifer Hudson has been tapped to sing the national anthem, while Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at halftime.

I really Like Carrie Underwood, but no matter what you say or think, FAITH HILL is still a GREAT singer.
Personally, I think the Super Bowl Committee would have done better had they NOT asked Jennifer Hudson and/or Bruce Springsteen to sing. If anyone is a "has been", it is Springsteen!!!!!

I do agree that Carrie Underwood has a stronger, more powerful voice, but I think Faith Hill is classic. She's an outstanding singer. She is in no way a has been. My six year old neice loves her. She's still very populer and considering that she's familar with the NFL, having sung the National Anthem before, I think she deserves this.

Faith has sang several time for the SuperBowl and she has far the better voice thatn Carrie Underwood. Faith has a more controled voice and is able to provide better sound than Carrie. I agree that Carrie is good but for those particular songs and the sound system that is provided the Superbowl Exec. know what they are doing, that is why they close Faith Hill

I agree, they could have got someone better than faith hill. Can't stand that woman! Then Jennifer Hudson is also suppose to sing. COME ON!!! She sucks too. Mine as well add fantasha (from American Idol)

Fake Hill is a bi=atch> All she does is talk about Tim McGraw like she is afraid some beautiful woman is going to come and snag him. Ever since she made the ugly comment on stage during a preformance to a fan who was crazy about her husband, I lost all respect for her. C'mon, both of you are showing off your bodies and you expect us all to never say or try anything...get real!

Lost ALL respect for Faith Hill as she conducted an interview on one of the country channels not too long after the birth of one of her daughters. She was shooting a video and she could hear her baby crying and she said her milk dropped and her breasts became fuller. She let the hungry baby cry so she "could get the good shot". No respect left for her at all.

I cant stand her either, I was hopingto see Carri Underwods name appear. guess I will be tuning in e;sewhere when she sings! Faith Hill is so over she ruined it for me when she got all ot cause some one grabbed her husband. Y know he likd it, but cause she is so crazy jealous, he had to act offended. Get over youself Faith, the only ones that still listen to you is your family.

No ! Not Faith Over the Hill ! That has been ! She only gets her gigs because of her Second Husband Tim McGraw, even tho she prefers the last name of her First Husband Dan Hill. She is a phony! She talks about how charitable she is, but doesnt give $$$ she gives a free song or 2, and she doesnt even write her songs. She is only McGraws opening act. She never even acknowledged her real mother when she found her, and it was never even reported that she helped her out, the woman died as she lived, just a regular slob like the rest of us, while Forbes reports that Faith Hill and 2nd husband make $ 109,000,000.00 in just ONE YEAR. She is greedy, fake and a publicity hound. At age 42 why doesnt she stay home for a while and raise her 3 kids, she doesnt need anymore money!!!!

Faith Hill is a class act. She will blow the roof off, and there isn't even one. Some people are jealous of her fame and fortune, but she certainly doesn't get it by hanging on the tails of her husband's coat. She has earned everything she has. If you don't really know her music and are only interested in eye candy, go elsewhere. She and Tim are very generous with their earnings and I won't even get into that.

I have never heard so much garbage in all my life. Faith Hill has an AMAZING voice, 1oo times better than Carrie Ubderwood. Carrie is good but she has a long way to go to get to Faith's calibere. I don;t see Carrie getting invited to sing at the Inaugration or for the NFL or to playing at the Hollywood Bowl. She is a beautiful person both inside and out.
