Toby Keith has established himself as a true renaissance man. He's a multi-platinum recording artist, producer and head of his own record label, in addition to being an actor, restaurateur and corporate pitchman. He can now add fashion designer to the list. TK Steelman is Keith's latest venture, a clothing line inspired by the singer's rugged personal style.Developed in partnership with Royal Merchandising Group, which produces merchandise for Keith's restaurants, the line will officially launch with a February 18 event at Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah's Las Vegas. TK Steelman will also be featured prominently at the MAGIC Marketplace convention, the world's largest fashion trade event, taking place in Las Vegas next month.
Personally approved by Keith himself, the looks are described as part rocker and part biker with a "country sexy" aesthetic. Among the products to be offered will be long-sleeve shirts, t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jeans, cowboy hats, baseball caps, bandanas, belts and leather wrist straps.
Keith did make one special request that could make his life a little easier. Since he's known to remove the sleeves from shirts he owns, he suggested that the line feature more sleeveless shirts. Following its initial launch, TK Steelman is expected to include fashions for women.

Country Bad Boy? Why because he dares to sing the words we are all to afraid to speak out loud!!! Keep it up Toby, we need to hear more from you and more concerts in new jersey. All my grandkids have turned into Toby keith fans and he is a good role model, work hard and be true to your feelings and you will find success.

Grammie - speak for yourself and other rednecks. The majority of America, however, does not feel sticking a boot up someone's ass is the "American way" --- as proven by the recent ass kicking republicans received.
TK's songs that aren't racist are about booze and sex. Yeah, great role model.

the boot up your ass line was in reference to the events of 9/11.
hooray for Toby!! And your reference to Toby not being a good role model? You mentioned the ass-kicking the Republicans recently received? Like Bill Clinton was a good role model!! The only thing Slick Willy was interested in was getting into Monica's pants!! Please.....

I am a country radio DJ. The one song of Toby's that REALLY bothers me is "Get Drunk And Be Somebody". What kind of message is THAT to kids and young adult? Like..if your SOBER you are a NOBODY? Scary scary stuff there!

Who in the spotlight is a good role model these days? Just because some one sings of booze and sex doesn't mean that is their life style, the songs are making them money,as much as we don't want to admit it, sex sells and it is unfortunate. I happen to have alot of respect for Toby for speaking the truth. As far as politicians, they are all alike, can't be trusted, tell us what we want to hear and most often don't follow through with their words. Doesn't matter what party they are.

Could someone pass me a bucket??? Or a boot???

Sex sells. So let's ALL just open up businesses and promote it and get rich. UH NO!!!! There is such a thing as having good morals and decency. Singing about sex and drugs even if you did not live that particular type of lifestyle would NOT excuse you. You are still accountable because you are basically "promoting" it. People that admire you and especially young people that look up to these music artists, are very impressionable. I we could have more positive and good morals building material, it would help a lot. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Toby Keith's music and talent as much as the next person. I am not bashing him but I do feel that each of us need to examine what we say, sing, write, etc. that is for public viewing/pleasure before we do make it public. Would we want our children growing up in that kind of lifestyle, etc? They will think it is an "alright" way of life.

Look - putting a boot up the ass of people who attack you IS the American way. If it wasn't, we'd all be speaking German now.
As far as Toby Keith's songs being about "booze and sex", they're COUNTRY songs: they're SUPPOSED to be about booze & sex. And occasionally violence, pickup trucks, and redemption. For crying out loud, real country rebels like Johnny Cash did songs like "Cocaine Blues" and Kristofferson's "Sunday Morning Coming Down". Booze & sex are the very foundation of country music. Nobody is saying that we ought to put booze & sex songs on the Miley Montana show, but I think grown men & women can handle songs about booze, sex, and boots up the ass without suddenly drinking to wretched excess, cheating on their spouse, and beating the hell out of people. I of course, was already into drinking to excess, promiscuity, and giving / taking a good beating on occasion several years before I ever began to appreciate true country music...

I agree nowhereman!!! Keep singing those songs Toby, you're the best!!!!!!!!
