Mindy McCready is reportedly back together with Billy McKnight, the ex-boyfriend convicted of beating her. The two were spotted Wednesday at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, where they happily chatted up radio programmers from across the country. Not only are they back on friendly terms but, according to Music City TV, McCready and McKnight are also making music together. McCready has signed a deal with Lofton Creek Records, and the label is looking to release her duet with her ex, 'Sweeter,' as a single. There's no word yet on when McCready's new music will hit country radio.
McKnight was arrested and charged with attempted murder back in May of 2005, after he beat and choked McCready. He is the father of her 3-year-old son, Zander.
