James Otto is moonlighting as a reality TV star! The country crooner has created his own show called 'Desperotto,' inspired by his cross-country travels."It's an escape. You get to see into my life and some of the things that I'm learning about the state where you live," Otto tells Dial-Global of the show. "To actually have something to talk about and know something about the places that you're playing and the people that you're playing for, it gives you something to write about."
Otto says he got the idea when he realized he was seeing more of the inside of his tour bus than of the great sites to see in the U.S. So he now takes advantage of each tour stop, hopping on his motorcycle with video camera in tow.
Otto is now shopping for a network to broadcast 'Desperotto.'
