2009 has already been quite a year for Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles. She performed at the inauguration of President Barack Obama in January and won two Grammy Awards in February. So what could measure up to all of that in March? "Oprah!" Nettles announces to fans on her website, in a video she filmed just before performing on the talk show last week. "It's huge. It's so huge that I'm sure that if Jesus comes back in our lifetime, he's probably going to go there to get the word out. Because she can get to a lot of people at one time."
Sugarland performed their hit, 'All I Want To Do,' on Oprah's country music tribute show, followed by a little couch time with the daytime diva. Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker and Carrie Underwood also performed and chatted on the special show. There's no word yet on when their episode will air.
"[It's the] best show on television!" says a giddy Nettles. "Maybe she'll give everybody a brand new car -- you never know! Or ... maybe they'll all just get Sugarland CDs. Or maybe they'll all just be touched by the sweet message when she and I become best friends."
