Carrie Underwood Tickled Pink With Hockey Beau

Carrie Underwood seems quite happy with her boyfriend, Ottawa Senators hockey player Mike Fisher, though she admits she has a lot to learn about his sport. The singer says she might enjoy hockey more if it got a slight makeover.

"They need to make the puck neon pink, because I'm having a hard time watching TV and following it," she tells Chicago's US99 radio station. "Because I can't see very well anyway, and I don't wear glasses [or] contacts."

Previously linked to Dallas Cowboys quarterback (and Jessica Simpson's current beau) Tony Romo, dating an athlete makes sense for the sports-enthusiast. "I love going to any sporting event anywhere," Carrie says. "I don't care what it is, where it is -- I love it."

Carrie also enjoys watching 'American Idol,' the show that launched her career. And even though she won on the show four years ago, she still harbors some resentment about the experience. Refusing to disclose who she is rooting for this season, she explains, "When I was on there, famous people would come talk about who their favorite was," she says, "and if it wasn't me, I hold a grudge! I still can't watch their TV shows."

Justin Timberlake, December 16, 2006: "I was doing a lot of research on the old Andy Warhol 'Interview' magazine covers, so there's definitely that feel to it. It makes the image more dynamic, that's for sure. This seemed to have that movement."

Guys- c'mon- ignore the Carrie hate. We all know how amazing and genuinely beautiful Carrie is. She has not let becoming famous transform her into a Hollywood (or in this case Nashville) snob; Carrie has used it as an experience to grow within herself and pursue her dream of being an artist. Carrie is one of the most talented female singers in country music, as well as in the country music genre as a whole. She delivers a message when she performs, and that is simply her passion towards what she does. People are just saying rude and negative things towards Carrie just to start online drama with people they have never even seen in person and probably never will. I love you Carrie, you are my hero. You introduced me to country music and I could never thank you enough. Keep on doing what you do best; being the real, incredible musician and individual that you are.

Whoa, hold your horses me me me. She had to work really hard at American Idol. She had to remember lyrics and perform in front of many people. Note: She also wrote and still writes songs. She is no fly by night gal. This girl had raw talent which is now perfected and elevated to astronomical proportions. She is a lady and a wonderful musician. I am so glad I was able to see her perform. She is absolutely spectacular. She has grown my love for country music to new heights.

I like that Carrie admitted that she holds a grudge against any celebrity who didn't name her as their favorite. I would have felt the same way. But Carrie has the last laugh on them all with her huge success.

Honestly, if you say you don't like country music then what gives you the right to think you can judge anyone in the industry? If you don't like the music in the first place then how can you know enough about any of the performers and their lives to make any fair judgement? You need to get your facts straight...she is a sweet and talented woman. You say you aren't jealous but it seems by the way you are ragging on her that you are. And it is also ridiculous that you make untrue and rude accusations about other country musicians. If you knew anything about the country music industry you would understand that these are some of the most down to earth, nice, and caring people in any industry out there. Talk to any REAL country music fan and they will tell you that one of the things they love most about the country music industy is how the artists are caring, considerate, and just genuinely really nice people. It's pretty obvious you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
