Clint Black Fired From 'Apprentice'

Clint Black heard those dreaded two words from Donald Trump on Sunday: 'You're fired.' The country star was booted from 'The Celebrity Apprentice' after losing a challenge for which he was thought to be the frontrunner -- writing a commercial jingle. But Black's song for Chicken of the Sea canned tuna was not chosen, and, being that he was the project manager for the challenge, he was fired.

Black wasn't the only contestant let go on Sunday. Jesse James and Brande Roderick were also let go after an impromptu round of interviews with last year's 'Apprentice' champ, Piers Morgan.

Black joined the 'Apprentice' cast to help raise money for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. He raised $20,000 on Sunday's show for the charity.

I think that Clint got fired because his jingle was "TOO" country. I would have been disappointed if he done it any different. I looks to me like he got fired because he is who he is... a country singer..and that is alright. Also Jesse got fired because he wouldn't beg his wife's friends for money... He stood up for what he believes in and that is good.

Now talk about weird! Plad shirts buttoned to the top. Always looking down. Doesn't seem to have a lick of personality at all. Seems to be a nice guy, though? The Don kept saying that he must have something since he is married to Sandra, well it sure isn't anything I could see. As Don implied, must be good in the bedroom.

I agree with you regarding Jesse being fired. However, I am glad Clint got fired. He is a nice guy, hard working and I love his music. But if you actually paid attention to anything he did, he was controlling, unaccepting of other views and unable to work on a team. Good thing he was a single entertainer. I cant imagine that he would last long in a group setting. Im surprised he lasted this long on The Apprentice.

dennis rodman was a drunk and a loser. with all of that talent it is sad to go to waste. it was bad to have him on the show, he sets a bad example for kids and young adults!!!!

You obviously hit the bong too many times while watching Rodmans antics on this show!! He is one weird dude and enjoys being that way. Everybody doesn't have to be a role model for goodness sake. He is a character & put some kind of different spin on the show. Clint Black is just a pure asshole. And talk about a plastic face! Did anyone besides me notice his??? His face only had one expression just like the Rivers girls.

I KNOW HE IS GLAD TO BE OFF THAT STUPID SHOW. JUST KNOWING THAT HE WON'T HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PLASTIC FACED JOAN RIVERS IS A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO GET FIRED.
