Never mind whats wrong with country music ~ You are whats wrong with people today ~ With all the hardships in the world all you have to gripe about is what the man is wearing and what type of "country music" he plays or sings.....
I am a huge fan of Mr Keith Urban and it is partly because of his talent as a true musician, but mainly because he has survived adversity and has set an example to those struggling with different types of things in their own lives.
This man shows his love for his child and wife every day by just showing up which is a lot more than some other fathers even bother to do that are as famous as he is.
also this world is so riddled with hate and you want to find hate in something good WOW I do feel very sorry for you truly !!!
God Bless you Keith Keep being the doting father and husband that you are and we fans will always have your back............
Your music is an inspiration to ANYONE WHO LISTENS TO IT ~ AND EVERYONE WHO ADORES YOU
GOD BLESS US ALL.....

Todays country "artists" can not hold a candle to the country legends that I grew up with. Such artist as Hank, Sr. & Hank,Jr., Waylon, Cash, Jones, Willie, P. Cline, L. Lynn, D. Parton, J. Paycheck, Charlie Pride, T.Wynette, Roger Miller, Twitty, Tanya T., Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker, Roseanne Cash etc. No, I an not 100 years old and out of touch, I'm 44 and I grew up listening to my grandmother play these artist and I fell in love with each song I heard from these artist. Todays "country music" artists to me do not produce traditional country music...it is country pop at best. There are exceptions in the genre today but still, not "real" country music. Sorry

Hamley, maybe you are what is wrong with country music. Just like all music in this world, it changes and adapts to what the MAJORITY of listeners want and like. If you dont like it, dont listen or take the time to comment on someone who doesnt matter to you. Did your parents empart the wise words, "If you have nothing nice to say, then dont say anything at all." As for the way he looks, he obviously can give a crap what you think so why waste your breath? Have you ever had children and found your time hard pressed to take a shower/shave or throw on a suit for a simple outing? I can only imagine what you wear just to go grocery shopping. 10 layers of makeup, 1 can of hairspray (if you are a woman)?

I agree. Keith Urban is the greatest singer-musician anywhere. He is the 'now'.
The others are drinking, boot-scootin country hicks.

to denise... you are exactly what is wrong with country music today... you probably listen to flatts, urban, rucker and all the other pop crossovers in country today. keith urban ain't country. he is a foreigner who does not have a clue what country is.... it is not about change, it is about remaining true to the country music ethic. obviously you don't know what country is. and wearing a clean shirt and shaving is not snobby, it is what men do..

Country has grown n changed like all other things in this world. This man is country with a kick and so are several other artists topping the charts lately. And about the clothes..... he's country and not worried about that snobby bs.
