Rising country star David Nail has teamed with The Boot to offer fans a free download of his latest hit, 'Red Light.'"This came to us after the record was done," David tells us of the song that almost didn't make his album. "To be honest, I wasn't real crazy about adding it, because any time you do a record you have to force yourself to close the book on it. Otherwise you'll just keep going back and wanting to fix and add things. But after I listened to it I said, 'I get it. Just tell me when and where we're recording.' And since we've been out on the road with it, introducing it to the world, it's been great. I think it was something that we were missing on the record, and I'm glad we had the opportunity to add it."
'Red Light,' written by Jonathan Singleton, Melissa Peirce and Dennis Matkosky, is the second single off David's 'I'm About to Come Alive' album, set for release this summer. Click here for your free download of the song.
David also treats us to an intimate live performance of 'Red Light.' Watch his acoustic show below, filmed at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville.
