After more than 25 years in the music business, what's next on Randy Travis' career to-do list? A rap album!Or make that, polishing his comedic skills.
"I'm thinking about doing a rap album," Travis joked In a recent interview with the Huntsville Times, adding after a few laughs, "No, don't worry, there's no danger in me doing that."
It is hard to believe, but Travis was turned down time and time again in the first 10 years of his career. "They told me I was too country, but this is all I've known," he said. "I'm not angry. I'm glad I paid my dues and didn't get signed then. It gave me a lot of experience."
Randy recently released 'I Told You So: the Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis.' The compilation features 30 of his biggest hits and two new tracks.
