Julianne Hough is in the running for a major movie role. The 'Dancing With the Stars' beauty and reigning ACM Top New Artist underwent a screen test last week for a role in the remake of the classic movie, 'Footloose.' "She was beautiful ... so talented," movie director Kenny Ortega said of Julianne's audition.
Julianne tested for the part of Ariel Moore, the love interest of a big city boy breaking rules in a conservative small town. 'Gossip Girl' actor Chace Crawford has already signed on for the lead role, originally played by Kevin Bacon in the 1984 flick.
