Keith and Nicole's Vietnam Adoption "Fabricated," Says Rep

Recent reports that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman plan to adopt a baby from Vietnam are being strongly denied by a representative for the Oscar-winning actress.

"The report is not true," Nicole's rep, Catherine Olim, told E! News. "We have no idea who started the rumor, but it's fabricated."

The denial comes hot on the heels of reports from British and Australian tabloids that Keith and Nicole had approached Vietnamese authorities to begin the adoption process. Read the full story.

To hell with kids, adopt a dog instead. They give unconditional love, won't throw temper tantrums, won't sulk if they don't get some stupid toy every other kid has, won't talk back, won't lie, cheat or steal, won't end up a drunk or on drugs and won't cost you over $200K to raise while you go unappreciated for all your hard work to give them a good home.

All she was saying was" why don't people adopt here", she didn't say she was smart or wanted to adopt, and there is no reason to be nasty, she just made a comment, snd I understand what you mean about judges wanting to unify the family even if it's detremental to the child, but I heard many stories of people adopting their foster children, right here in the US, it's not impossible, although I do believe the judges and social workers are off their rockers when making decisions. They are probably the most unstable, unreliable, unrealistic, organization out there, they don't protect the ones that need protection, and try to over help, ones that don't need help, I've seen it 1st hand, and it's really sickening!!!

BrendaFrances - a foster child is close to impossible to adopt. The court is constantly sticking thier nose in, trying to unify the family at every turn, to the detriment of the child. And even if the parent signs their rights away, they just need to find a bleeding heart judge to over turn it. And if you are so better than everyone, why don't you adopt one or a dozen?

There are so many children living in foster care right here in the US that need a good home. Why don't people start here!

. The process is very difficult for families who desperately want to parent to navigate the foster care system in this country. In addition, Keith and Nicole are Australians...Australia has even tougher adoption laws. Hugh Jackman spoke very passionately about tryign to change the system.
