Zac Brown Band are the winners of CMT's Breakthrough Video of the Year award for their huge hit, 'Chicken Fried.'"I wanna say thank you to CMT for helping unite us with our fans," Zac said upon accepting the trophy -- the band's first major award. "We want to thank the country music fans because without the country music fans buying our music, we wouldn't have a life in country music. Thanks to our team and thanks to all of our crew...we really love you guys. Thank you."
On the red carpet, Zac and his bandmates told The Boot how honored they were to be one of the only country bands to play both CMA Music Fest and Bonnarroo.
"Or maybe we were the only rock band to be playing Music Fest," joked ZBB guitarist Clay Cook.
