Kellie Pickler, who's currently on the Fearless tour with Taylor Swift, is seeing a lot of the US, but mostly from the back of a bus. And the irony of her "little house on wheels" isn't lost on the singer, who was raised in a North Carolina trailer park . "Funny," Kellie tells OK! magazine. "As a child I thought, 'I'm going to be a big country star so I can get out of this damn trailer.' Then I go and get one. I mean it's a $1 million trailer but it's still a trailer."
And even though, with the success she's had, Kellie could certainly afford to stay in nice hotels along the way, she prefers to sleep on the bus, in a king-size bed, snuggling with her Chihuahua, Moo Moo.
"I don't want to sleep on somebody else's mattress, so even five-star hotels are horrid to me," says Kellie, admitting that there are other things she prefers to keep for herself. "I like sitting on my own toilet that no one else has sat on."
Kellie adds that she enjoys her own company ("I don't like people," she jokes) and spends a lot of time talking to herself, contemplating the things she'd like to do in the future.
"I would love to cross over into television and film," she says. "And I have to meet Clint Eastwood. Of course I would love to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It would be such a huge honor."
As for her romantic goals, Kellie's advice, perhaps based on past experience, is: "Find what makes you happy and make it happen. And never settle ... don't settle for some loser guy who treats you like s--t; go find a man. Somebody who knows how to fix things. Not someone worried about breaking a nail. I can't date someone who wears more makeup than I do!"
The 22-year-old wants to explore her more adventurous side too, insisting that she needs to attempt both skydiving and scuba diving.
"I'll be the first one to do something crazy. I've always kinda been a tomboy. My grandmother would try to dress me up in a pretty dress but I'd come home with the fabric ripped, holes in my pantyhose and gum in my hair. I was not a lady. I would fall out of trees and climb on the roof."
Kellie is currently climbing the country chart with her single 'Best Days of Your Life.'

sapphire753 - Thanks for saying it like it is. Karen W. is so jealous she can't think straight. Kellie is one sincere little girl who deserves the breaks in life she is getting. Maybe if Karen W. would change her attitude maybe good things would start happening to her too.

kdu...I am a successful, attractive professional woman...Saying that, I truly have no need for you, and less for Pickler...She has not succeeded on talent. You think what you will, I am jealous of no one like her. Not everyone has the same complex you do.

Rather cruel remarks for a young girl. Ladies should support ladies

Karen is really the big jealous loser, obviously. LOL

if you don't care for kellie pickler then why are you reading articles about her?? so what if she wanted to get a breast job, so what if she is now successful and grew up poor or in a trailer, so what if she's a little ditzy. she's great at what she does, is beautiful, sweet, and is a millionaire now. good for her.
Fabulous You!at 6-24-2009
Why the venom? Goodness gracious at the hate for the girl!
thebigshuck79at 6-24-2009
I'd banger her... looks like she's got real boobs to me. I think she's as Organic as it gets other than her dyed hair.

Easy to prove, check her out pre-Idol, and then after she said she had it done.....Duh.
sapphire753at 6-24-2009
Gee, 'KAREN W', you sound a little jealous. I don't think she has much make-up on at all. AND who cares if she had a boob job or even dyes her hair, the majority of women do dye their hair and I bet most would get a boob job if they could afford it. I know I would, LOL, and not for vanity, but because I breastfed 2 babies, and no one tells you that breastfeeding causes your boobs to becoume soft and saggy afterward, and now I hate going without a bra even when I sleep it is painful for the 'girls',DD, to hang loose. Having a boob job & wearing a bit of make-up and dyeing your hair by no means changes who she is inside and no one can fault someone who wants to look their best, at any age.

I just thought that you should know, the type of boob job that might help you would probably be a breast lift, or if you think that they are too big and heavy, a breast reduction. The procedure that Karen was probably referring to is breast implants. The problem with breast implants that many people don't seem to realize is that breast implants often have to be replaced, they do not feel like "natural" breasts (although silicone is fairly decent), can leak into surrounding tissue, and there can be hardened scaring around the breast implants. For those reasons, and because of fear of stigma, fear of surgery (and subsequent fear of blood loss, anesthesia, and possible infection), and recovery time, I do not think that "most women" would get breast implants.
But I do agree that changing one's appearance does not change who someone is on the inside.

I agree after having breastfed my daughter and still breastfeeding my son, I wish someone would help me pay for a breast lift. It doesn't matter what someone does to the outside though, it's what is inside that counts.
