Keith Urban has performed with an eclectic group of musicians, including Alicia Keys, Bryan Adams, Al Green and Justin Timberlake. The latest to join that diverse list are the Counting Crows, as Keith teamed up with the rockers last Friday at Wisconsin's annual Summerfest concert event. Even Keith, who is a huge fan of the band, admitted it was a bit of an odd pairing -- but a great one. "Yeah, I guess we've got our own things going on," he told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel with a laugh. "It's just the way it happened ... We didn't know about it until the gig was booked. I'm thrilled. I love those guys. It's really just Summerfest and their imaginative pairing, which I think is killer."
Other performers on the Summerfest bill over the weekend were Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Chicago, Bob Dylan, KISS, Stevie Wonder and No Doubt.
