They made it official last month but made it a party last week.

Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Cassie McConnell in a civil ceremony in Nashville in late June. The hush-hush nuptials were "a legal formality," according to Lady A's publicist. The happy couple wanted to make it official in the states before their destination wedding in the Bahamas, which happened over the July 4th weekend, surrounded by family and friends.

Lady A announced the happy news Friday on their Twitter page, alongside a photo of Charles flashing his wedding band. "What is that you see on Charles' hand ... yep a wedding ring!!!" the trio Tweeted.

Charles' new bride is a Nashville-based publicist who represents several musicians, including Jake Owen and her new brother-in-law, pop singer Josh Kelley.
