Steve Azar, best known for his 2002 hits 'I Don't Have to Be Me ('Til Monday)' and 'Waitin' on Joe,' is back with a new album on his own record label. 'Slide on Over Here' hits stores today (Aug. 4) on the Mississippi native's Ride Records. "Every note on this record is honest and a reflection of who I am musically," says Steve, who produced, engineered and played guitar on the new project, in addition to writing or co-writing every track.
The album's first single, 'Moo La Moo' is currently climbing the country charts. Its video features 'King of Queens' actor Gary Valentine and Paula Trickey from 'The O.C.'
